Andrea has a deep connection to The Brashear Association and the Hilltop community. She is a native of Beltzhoover, her children participated in the organization’s educational programing when they were young, and she previously served on Brashear’s Board of Directors as a 1st Vice President. In 2019, she made her way back to the area and to Brashear following her position as Public Health Analyst with the Health Resources and Services Administration, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as well as Founding Executive Director of the Children’s Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc. During her time at Brashear, she has successfully executed plans for the new Brashear CARES Center in Knoxville, while also navigating the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic and serving a growing variety of needs in the community.

Natasha joins the Brashear Association in the Executive Assistant role supporting Andrea Matthews. She has a BS in Marketing from Slippery Rock University and from BNY Mellon Wealth where she served as a Fiduciary Team Lead. Natasha's outgoing and joyful personality makes her the perfect fit for this role.
She is a detailed and dedicated employee who loves problem-solving and making everyone who she meets feel welcome and supported.

Director of Education
Lindsay Patton is the Youth Academic and Career Case Manager at The Brashear Association. Lindsay has always had a passion for helping people and she loves children, especially the teens. She was formerly the Employment Case Manager. In her new role, Lindsay will be responsible for assisting youth in grades 8 through 12 with navigating secondary education and career options and preparing for adulthood. Lindsay is a lifelong resident of the Hilltop, a mother of two, who in her spare time loves to read, listen to different genres of music, and spend time with family and friends.
