David joined PNC Bank in April 2012 as an Asset Manager within the New Markets Tax Credit Investment Group prior to moving to the Community Development Banking group in August 2014. David began his banking career with Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania in 2003 where he worked in various capacities of the Commercial Real Estate Group including CRA Relationship Lending, Portfolio management, and lastly as a Relationship Manager in the Bank’s Distressed Commercial Real Estate Assets Division. Overall, David’s responsibilities included structuring and making loans that would conform to the Bank’s policies on CRA lending; monitoring the compliance of debtor fiscal reporting and loan covenant requirements; and, in the capacity as a workout specialist; restructuring of debt obligations and enforcement of loan obligations in protecting the Bank’s real estate collateral as well as managing forecasts of reserves and charge off recommendations to management. Prior to joining Citizens Bank, David was employed by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) of Pittsburgh where he was responsible for the facilitation of several neighborhood development housing initiatives involving various community development organizations through his management of the Agency’s non-profit Housing Development Corporation. In the early stages of his tenure at the URA, David was a project monitor in the Multi-family housing division with responsibilities that included developing and implementing an internal compliance monitoring system acceptable to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
