Description:
Adult day care services are provided to senior citizens, age 60 and over, who
have minor physical and/or psychological impairments. Services include congregate
meals, occupational and physical therapy activities, daily living skills adaptation,
transportation assistance, socialization and recreation, and information and
retrieval. Up to twenty-two participants can be served.

Through the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center, the Early Head Start
Program provides child development and family support services to pregnant
mothers and children from birth to age three.

The Student Employment Office of Duquesne University offers two Work-Study
student placements to our agency every school year. These placements
assist in program areas critical to our agency. From the Duquesne
University Volunteer Office, student volunteers are placed at Brashear
Association to assist where needed and serves as a service learning experience
for the students.

Description:
Learning Tree Day Care provides comprehensive day care services to children
and infants through school age. Afterschool care is offered for older children.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 6 am to 6 pm.

Description:
Meals on Wheels provides meals and snacks to homebound elderly in Arlington
and Mt. Oliver. The program is affiliated with the Lutheran Service Society.

Dormont Presbyterian Church
Description:
The Stroke Survivor Connection Program offers group meetings for stroke
survivors on a weekly basis at the Henry Kaufmann Center and the Dormont
Presbyterian Church. This program offers physical exercises, mental
exercises and socialization to stroke survivors and their caregivers.
